3. Minimum cost,
maximum improvement in English
Through man-to-man classes in Monol, students can have 10 times
more chances to speak than in typical large group classes. This way,
students can boost their confidence and focus more on improving
their skills. In addition, they need not worry about meals, cleaning,
and laundry. Monol takes care of all these to ensure that students
can devote all of their time on studying.
Cool weather
Baguio City is located 1,500 meters above sea level making it the
highest major Philippine city in terms of elevation. It boasts of a
year-round temperature of 16 to 25º Celsius, which makes the
environment conducive to intensive learning.
Conducive environment for learning
Unlike other cities, Baguio does not have so many recreational
facilities like casinos, gambling houses, pubs, etc. that may distract
students from studying. Also, the people of Baguio communicate
well in English. This way, students get to practice and apply what
they learn in class
Well-guaranteed security
There is no other place more secure than Baguio. The city’s
cool weather is often associated with the mildness and good-
naturedness of the people. Thus, crime rate is lower than in other
cities.
Baguio City : education and tourist city
Baguio is considered as the education center of Northern Luzon.
There are 10 colleges and 6 universities in the city, including a
campus of the University of the Philippines, the top university in
the country. Because of its cool weather and quiet atmosphere,
Baguio is also developed as a resort city. More commonly known
as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City features
various tourist attractions like the Mansion House (the Presidential
Palace), Camp John Hay, Teachers Camp, Philippine Military
Academy and various parks to explore.

and management system
From 8:00 a.m. to 9 p.m., students follow a strict and hectic study plan. The
academy imposes regulations and restrictions that are designed to supervise
and manage the students. These sets of rules are helpful for making a productive
learning atmosphere.
School-wide and Dormitory
24-hour speak-in-English policy
Through the English-Only-Policy, students are required to speak in English at
all times even during meals and inside dormitory rooms. This way, they are
trained that speaking in English becomes a way of life.
Living with a teacher in a room :
3+1 dormitory system
By living with a teacher in a room, students are not only able to speak in
English but also develop a good relationship with their teachers. Since a 3+1
room merges people with different cultural backgrounds, students under this
program can improve their English much faster than others.
“Gather together and have fun with English”
diverse activity programs
Various activities are regularly held in Monol to help students relieve stress
from a Spartan education system. The academy organizes city tours, 3+1
activities, parties, fun sports tournaments, and club activities, which are all done
in English.

GettingtoManila
One week before the graduation of students, a simple orientation is given to brief them on the necessary procedures before leaving the
campus until they reach the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.. Graduating students can take the infamous airport limousine that can
drop them off at a certain airport terminal. From here, students can transfer to other airport terminals using various shuttles of airlines or
bus companies. Public transport like taxis, buses, and trains crowd the Manila streets all the time. However, with services such as these,
students are assured to have a safe and secure travel from Baguio to Manila, and likewise, have a more convenient mode of transport.
