    • Podcasting has helped expand communications between students and teachers.

    • Anglia University provides time critical information on clearing and availability of
    • courses. Durham University uses it to offer a guided tour of the university and library,
    • with an introduction to university life in general, useful for both prospective students and 1st year students.”

    • Podcasting allows students to have constant communications with the teachers
    • It can be driven for marketing, technology, service, and teaching for students and teachers.
    • Allows teachers to post lectures so there students have 24 hour access.

    I knew podcasting was a great tool for education; however, I never thought of using it as a resource for marketing. This is a great idea for schools especially schools who participate in study abroad programs.

    • “ Blogging is an outlet for students to incorporate their way of learning into school.”
    • Students can blog and still be learning the way they want to rather than writing it on paper.
    • Teachers can use blogs to post assignments and to give examples.
    • With all technology that is out, many schools haven’t embraced it in order to have the most effect on the kids.

    • There is learning from technology and learning with technology. Learning from technology uses electronics like computers to help you practice. Learning with technology uses online tools to help teach.

    • Using a blog as a source to publish students work is a great idea. That is a great way to keep in touch with the parents, as well as keeping an open relationship between the parents, students, and other teachers

    • Focuses on learning objects and using resources to help education
    • The three major challenges:
      • flexibility, context and pedagogical expertise
      • Supports sharing of materials and research

    • They use the methodological approach to help focus on the user friendly design.
    • This allows students to be able to run the technology independently.

    • Tons of research goes into the technology to use every year for students and making sure that it is incorporated with what we are using in todays society.
    • All three of these articles show how in todays world we use technology for all different aspects of education and how we can use each of them for the most benefit to educating our students.
