    1. Cougar Administration of Justice Education
    2. CAJE was developed at Weston Ranch in the Fall of 2008. It is a cost free educational program, fully Funded by the California Department of Education through a SSP Grant. It was designed especially for high school students pursuing a career in the criminal Justice field. It is a 3 year program, that gives you a jump start into your future.
    3. -Police/Sheriff -FBI agent -Forensic Scientist -Lawyer -Crime Scene Investigator -Court Reporter -Probation Officer -Social worker -Detective -Secret Service -Judge
    4. - Hands on learning that prepares you for your own individual chosen career within the justice system!
      • A very unique program offered At very few schools throughout California. Weston Ranch is the Only school in MUSD that offers it!
      • Classes especially tailored
      • For your future in criminal justice!
      -Lots of guest speakers and field trips! - Fire arms training! - Laptops! - Team Building! -College Credits!

    9. Field Trips & Team Building -Ropes Course -Santa Rosa Police Academy -Delta College -Probation Office
      • This course is specifically designed to inform students about the basics of laws, how they are created and enforced, and about the basics of how the court system works.
      • In this class we have done mock trials, where the students create a court scene with real situations and go through the court process.
      • This course is an introduction to all of the various careers in law enforcement.
      • History of the legal system
      • Participate in Teen Court
      • Job Shadowing
      • This course explores the various scientific an real work investigations, such as Crime Scene Investigators, taking blood samples & fingerprints, and laboratory principles that are used in real life situations.
      • This class is a two period ROP course designed to give students a first hand experience. Training from various law enforcement agencies, and involves job shadowing.
