Through HKALL (Hong Kong Academic Link), students may request circulating materials of the other seven UGC libraries that are unavailable in CUHK libraries to be delivered to the University Library OR the Medical Library OR the Legal Resources Centre for them to checkout. HKALL <ul><li>Access to other UGC Libraries : </li></ul><ul><li>Apply a JULAC Reader’s Card for admission to other UGC-funded university libraries for study and use of their collections in-house </li></ul><ul><li>$50 registration fee will be charged by each host library </li></ul><ul><li>Valid for one academic year from 1st August to 31st July of the next year </li></ul><ul><li>Application: online OR in person at the Circulation Counter of the University Library </li></ul>Borrowing Privileges Under-graduate Loan Quota Books Journals Maximum Renewals Maximum Holds Multimedia Materials CUHK Materials 50 books 30 days No 5 10 5 items/ 3 days/ No renewal No holds 10 books (The HKALL loan quota will be counted into one's total loan quota) 15 days N/A 2 10 (The HKALL hold quota will be counted into one ’ s total hold quota) N/A
