RE: Deadline for No Cost Extensions (NCE)
The ORSP and subsequently, the Board of Regents annually process a number of requests
for “No Cost Extensions (NCE)” and budget revisions for enhancement projects. While
the ORSP and the Regents continue to facilitate requests, there has been added emphasis
over the past few years on ensuring that all such requests are justified and are necessary
for successful project implementation.
Therefore, requests for extensions and/or revisions for current enhancement grants will be
submitted to the Board of Regents for final approval provided the following.
1) The project cannot be completed and funds expended within the current contract
period (by June 30, 2010);
2) The project is still within the original contract period and has not been granted an
extension previously.
3) Sufficient rationale for revision and/or extension is provided; and
4) Signed requests are received in the ORSP by May 4, 2010.
For BORSF, requests should be submitted in letter form to ORSP detailing: 1) progress
made to date; 2) length of extension requested [no longer that 12 months]; and 3)
rational/justification for extension and expected outcomes or enhancements.
NCE should be submitted to the ORSP (Rosenwald Hall, Suite 225) or electronically to
ORSP@dillard.edu by May 4, 2010.
