Future Cloud Computing Pilot Projects Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP) Early orientations for Work programme 2011 Theme 4: ICT for improved public services (EUR 22m) Support the development of a Government Clouds initiative in Europe , assessing the added value of Clouds in the public sector and the barriers for their deployment. Objective 4.1: Support several pilots to prepare move towards clouds of/for public services. Pilots to demonstrate potential benefits of adopting new service delivery architectures to reduce cost and enable private actors to build new services.
