About My position in the library entails finding new technologies, and teaching faculty, staff, and students how to use existing technologies in an efficient manner. I co-teach the class “Practices and Skills to Support a Parish Ministry” for M.Div. students where we focus on the new computer and web-based technologies that enable pastors to work smarter and reach more people. Topics covered in the class include: worship software, church management software, website design, church budgeting and controls, hardware purchasing, blogging, creating presentations, and social networking.
I created and maintain the seminary sermon blog, the library’s Twitter and Facebook accounts.
