P3 Outboard Motor Primer - Presentation Transcript

  1. A NEW BOATING ACCESSORY THAT COMPLIES WITH THE NEW EPA EMISSIONS REGULATIONS PRESENTS
  2. Outboard Motor Primer Bulbs (such as shown above) will soon become obsolete, for their failure to meet strict new fuel emissions limits. These limits, set by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) in 2008, will require hydrocarbon (fuel) emissions from primer bulbs, to be below 15g/m2/day The Problem
  3. BluSkies is pleased to announce completion of development and validation of the boating industry’s only guaranteed, EPA compliant Outboard Motor Primer Bulb. The Solution *Patent Pending
  4. Ergonomically designed to fit neatly in the palm of the hand, the BluSkies Outboard Motor Primer Bulb replaces the old “rubber ball style” primer bulbs with a revolutionary Palm Pump Priming System that we call *P3 The P3 *Patent Pending
  5. The BluSkies P3 displacement of fuel is achieved via an applied precise downward stroke to a piston, followed by a precise spring actuated upward return stroke, ensuring consistent reliable fuel delivery every time. Piston Stroke The Technology Spring *Patent Pending
  6. The BluSkies P3 system can prime a typical fuel line in ~9-10 strokes. 1 linear foot of gasoline inside of a 3/8" ID hose, equates to 21.68 cc (cubic centimeters)  The BluSkies P3 delivers an average of 13.25 cc per stroke A typical marine hose assembly is ~5 ½’ long The Efficiency *Patent Pending
  7. The BluSkies P3 technology has flat flow fuel paths, that allow maximum stroke efficiency without flow resistance penalty. The BluSkies P3 is operated by simply pushing down or squeezing the swing arm actuator, which has a full 14 degrees of motion. Fuel Path The Ingenuity *Patent Pending
  8. The BluSkies P3 technology employs two check valves, working in tandem at opposite ends to determine the fuel flow direction Valves The Simplicity *Patent Pending
  9. Height = 3.22 in (82 mm) Length = 6.53 in (166 mm) Width = 2.64 in (67 mm) <1 g/m2/day emission limit Piston Diameter = 1.77 in (45 mm) Stroke = 0.625 in (16 mm) Displacement = 1.1 in3 (28 mm3) Pumping force = 3.5 PSI Additional Specifications/Technical Data The Performance *Patent Pending
  10. The BluSkies P3 seal was preconditioned in E-10 test fuel and the pumping mechanism was validated for pump volume consistency through >5000 cycles The Reliability *Patent Pending
  11. October 2008, the BluSkies P3 was featured in an EPA presentation to the boating industry, at the International Boat Builders Exhibition and conference (IBEX) in Miami Florida. The BluSkies P3 was identified in the presentation as a strategy for compliant replacement technology. The Recognition *Patent Pending
  12. The Opportunity *DISTRIBUTION (Aftermarket) USA (West Coast) USA (East Coast) Canada (East) Canada (West) ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT (OE) USA (All) Outboard Engine Manufacturers USA (All) Boat Builders *Distribution Partnerships Are Limited *Patent Pending
