  • 9. Integration Details • MOSS Master Page Layout – “Foundational Design which all 1.) CODE - Code and code standards for any supported language templates and Page Layouts use”; usually includes Header, (CSS, Java/JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, etc.) Footer, search, tracking code and other items consistently used on every page of the site using a certain Master Page Layout 2.) CODE COMPONENTS – Standardized, interchangeable coded components used across multiple Page Layouts, may be jointly • Templates – “Logical Groupings of Page Layouts by Type or developed (3 tab, 3 tab with picture, 3 tab with video, etc.) Section”; these do not exist in MOSS but are used for categorization; listed by numbers, for example: 1.0 – Home Pages 3.) CUSTOM CONTROLS – Embedded Plug-ins (DB, InfoPath forms, picture viewer) 2.0 – Section Pages 3.0 – Category 4.) ANIMATION – Any item presenting animation to the end user 4.0 – Index (JavaScript flyouts, video players, slide show feature, existing/new banners, Flash Controls, etc.) 5.0 – Detail 6.0 – Widgets 5.) USER-EDITABLE or HARD-CODED CONTENT – Images and copy or blocks of text • MOSS Page Layouts – “MOSS Web Author editable page layouts” which are selected when adding a new page, denoted by n.x (ie – 3.1, 5.2, etc.) 6.)
