2. Premier Elements
Adobe Premier Elements is the software I used to edit and create my music video. It has allowed me to focus on minute
sections of the clips I filmed. Through exploring Premier Elements I discovered time re-mapping, through time
remapping I was able to make some scenes faster for example when the girl is on the computer, through speeding up
the tempo it over exaggerates on what is happening and empathises how angry she is. Similarly, when I used time
remapping to slow down the also empathised the emotion of the clip, for example I used time remapping to slow down
the scene when the girl is reading her hate mail. This represents how the impact of what is happening to her is slowly
knocking her down, relating to her ending the video with suicide.
From using premier elements I was also able to duplicate scenes, I found this really helpful especially for my chorus
scene of the young girl signing , as I want to reflect the lack of communication and this empathised by multiple images
on the screen .

3. Blogger
Blogger is the method I used to structure and publish all my thoughts and ideas for my A2
coursework, from doing this it has enabled me to push my ideas forward and make them even
better as they are visual I can see what Ideas I need t work and how they can progress.
Blogger also gives me the freedom to publish research, planning, drafts and final pieces. From
doing this I am able to gain feedback from the public, this has helped me develop my main
concept and make sure it is clear to the audience.
By using this website it has enabled me to talk about a variety of theories and all my
thoughts/planning process behind all my decision making.

4. You tube
You tube has allowed me to explore a
variety of technologies. Firstly it has been
my primary purpose for uploading drafts
of my music video, from doing this I have
been able to show my drafts of my music
video to an audience and gain feedback
from the viewings. By uploading my
videos and drafts onto you tube it has
also allowed the public to comment on
my music videos, which is good because I
am not only gaining feedback from my
class members, also people I don’t know.
This is extremely helpful because I will
not know my audience who watch my
music video, and I want to make sure my
narrative clear and obvious to them, so
from posting my videos on you tube and
the public commenting on my video I am
able to confirm this.

5. Adobe Indesign
I used Adobe InDesign to create my
advertisement and digipack. This
software allowed me to crop and
manipulate my pictures to fit in with
my theme of communication.
I also decided to use a variety of fonts
to reinforce what is the theme of my
advertisement and digipack. For
example for the advertisement I used
the font Algerian to reinforce the
power of the song name ‘You Need
Me’ using personal pronouns it is very
direct to my audience and this is
something I wanted to reflect this by
the font choice.
