It was that celebrated Anglican divine, Charles Simeon of Cambridge, who when reflecting on this matter observed: ‘The truth lies neither at one extreme nor the other, nor yet in the mean betwixt the two. </li></ul></ul>

Part lll   How Does God’s Sovereignty Relate to Free Will?   Pastor Richard Ang   <ul><ul><li>It lies in holding both extremes at the same time.’ He would advise the evangelist to be a Calvinist in his prayers and an Arminian in his preaching. The evangelist is called to pray as though it depended on God, and to preach as if it all depended on him. </li></ul></ul>
