ProblemsOpportunities Not enough funding from people buying cd’s and hard copy’s Up and coming artists can’t secure contracts because of low budgets They can’t secure a contract because of low budgets from record lables They do not make any money which restricts their creativity Consumers who regularly download could have their internet slowed down and eventually cut off from them It can promote artists to the record companies. More and more artists start their career online. They can start their career online and become quite famous through buzz created from illegal file sharing. They have the opportunity to almost try before you buy which means they will broaden their horizon Proposes a opportunity for record label's to have music promoted by illegal sharing
