Here is my first attempt for a children's book, using Digital Painting.

3. A little girl lives in a house
Partly made by cement
Partly made by wood
Everything was almost green and beautiful
The whole backyard have grass
The flowers bloom sweetly
Trees shadows the sun majestically
Dancing lights cover the house
Contrasting the garden furniture of tires
Birds fly and sing
Clouds blow and give shade
Screen doors protect from mosquitoes
This is a house where the little girl awaits

5. The little girl knows it
Christmas is coming
She is waiting for it all year
Where Papa would surely come home
Little girl wonders
How Papa is doing
He works so far away
She misses him
Little girl wonders
The things she will receive
Will she have more toys to play
And have Papa come play with

7. Then the little girl was sad
Papa came home with no presents
She also got mad
She waited for it
She expected to have something
Because she waited
For Papa to come home
Little girl cried
“You don’t have any presents for me.
Even if I waited for you to come home.”
Then there was a frown on Papa’s face
Sadness was in his eyes
He asked his daughter:
“Would you rather have a present
or Papa coming home?”

9. The little girl became sad
She almost cried even if she tried to be angry
She loves Papa very much
She doesn’t need Papa’s gifts
Even if it is Christmas Eve
Papa rarely comes home
She waited not only for presents
She misses him
And she forgot why
The little girl realized,
She rather have
Papa come home
Than million presents in the world
Because Papa coming home is more important
Than coming home not at all.
Papa came home
Then,
The little girl knows she is loved.
