What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?<br />-56134031115<br />A film production company such as lions gate (the company we chose to use in our film) might distribute our product. Lions gate would be one of the most likely companies to show our film as they specialize in horror/thriller genre and therefore would be attracted to our film. Lion's gate produce many British films which would mean they’re more likely to produce ours, but they also have a strong influence in the north American film industry which would allow for distribution outside of Britain.<br />3096895121920<br />During it's cinema release, our film would be more likely to be shown in independent cinemas such as the ritzy and Clapham picture house, given that cheap horror films are also very popular in the independent film business. However, our film would be less likely to be shown in one of the American-owned multiplex cinemas such as Odeon or Cineworld as these focus more on Hollywood blockbusters and tend to show only a select few independent films which are usually from more high-profile directors and often have a very limited number of screenings. <br />
