    • How to build FTP Test Plan in Jmeter?• In this presentation, we will see how to build FTP test plan to test FTP site.• To test FTP site, please use test FTP sites like• ftp.secureftp-test.com• http://ftptest.net/• Please do not inject huge load.• First step is to Add Thread Group to your test plan, by right click on Test Plan, Add > ThreadGroup
    • FTP Request Defaults• In this example, we will see how to access files which are hosted in ftp.secureftp-test.com• Following are the FTP server details.• Secure FTP Server Details• Type FileZilla• Address ftp.secureftp-test.com• Login test• Password test• Next step is to add default settings for your FTP plan by right click on Thread Group, Add >Config Element > FTP Request Defaults• Enter server name ftp.secureftp-test.com as shown above.
    • Adding FTP Requests• Now, add FTP request to your FTP test plan.• Right click on Thread Group, Add > Sampler > FTP Request• Enter server name as ftpsecureftp-test.com• Enter Remote file pigs.xml• Enter Local File pigs.xml
    • Adding FTP Requests• Enter Username and Password as test• Similarly add another FTP Request for plants.xml
    • Add Listeners• Final step is to add Listeners by right clicking on Thread Group, Add > Listener > View ResultsTree• Click on Run button
    • Add Listeners• Final step is to add Listeners by right clicking on Thread Group, Add > Listener > ViewResults Tree• Click on Run button to validate therequests
