    • each classroom has a projector (K-12)
    • most classrooms have a document camera (K-12)
    • interactive white boards in many classrooms (K-12)
    • classroom response systems available in most schools (K-12)
    • e-readers in middle and high school libraries for check out
  • 3. Curriculum
    • video, ipods, and classroom response systems for formative assessment
    • ipods for struggling readers
    • Google Sites for digital portfolios
    • Google Docs for paperless classroom
    • Web 2.0 tools for creation, communication and collaboration
    • Interactive whiteboards for student-centered instruction
    • video conferencing with experts outside the classroom
  • 4. 21st Century Learners
    • 1st grade - students use Mimio interactive tools in literacy centers
    • 1-4 grades - students use ipods to record book discussions
    • 2nd grade - students use Flip videos to create real-world math problems
    • 4th grade - students from Bitterroot and Burlington collaborate to create a wiki for two novels
    • 3rd grade - students from Eagle Cliffs and Bitterroot collaborate with students at Skyview High School on “community”
    • 9th grade - Senior High students Skype with Kyrgystan students in Environmental Studies
    • 10th grade - West High students Skype with Kyrgystan students in Genocide
    • 9-12 grade - West High students use PolyCom conferencing system to participate in a distance learning project for Health
    • 11-12 - Career Center students create web sites for elementary schools in the district in Web Design class
  • 5. 21st Century Teachers
    • 1st & 2nd grade - teachers use SoundCloud to publish students reading to a blog
    • 3rd grade - teachers use Livebinders and Weebly to create a learning center
    • 4th grade - teachers use video Blogger to teach the Word of the Day
    • K-12th grades - teachers use Blogger to communicate classroom activities to parents
    • K-6th grades - teachers use VoiceThread to engage students in topic discussions
    • 9th grade - Earth Science & Health teachers team teach using GPS units, Video, and Google Earth
    • 7-12th grades - teachers use Edmodo to create classroom social networks
    • 7-12 grades - teachers use Polls Everywhere and cell phones for quick response activities
    • 9-12th grades - teachers use Remind101 to text students homework and reminders
    • 4-12th grades - teachers use document cameras and screen-casting to publish tutorials on the web for students and parents
