Rising fuel costs and the growing
concern over carbon emissions will

Airships are air vehicles that use a
lighter than air gas, such as hydrogen,
helium, for liM, rather than wings.
In addi6on they are capable of
powered flight and can control their
al6tude and direc6on of travel.
The Zeppelins of the 30’s were one
order of magnitude more efficient
per ton mile than a 747.
Airships are beUer than road,
rail and shipping where the
infrastructure does not exist.
Places like the Canadian North, Russia,
China, Mongolia, India and Africa are
where airships will have their first best use.
They will be used to haul fuel and
supplies for resource extrac6on sites and
their companion towns.
Airships allow for development that is more
economical and less ecologically damaging.
Since they don’t need the infrastructure of rail,
road or airplanes, they are also the perfect
interface between rural and urban loca6ons.
Tomorrow the airship will come to pick
up our produce and craMs. We can now
sell directly to Europe, and get more
value for what we make.
Ok, it can haul cargo, but isn’t it too slow for passengers?
Slow is not about doing everything at a snail's pace;
it's about working, playing and living beUer by doing
everything at the right speed.
What’s flying in an airship like?
In an airship, you can smell where you are.
You can even hear the dogs barking below.
Stepping outside, you see the landscape around you.

I met many friends during my stay
on board. We shared stories and
made plans to explore together.
AMer dinner I got on the overnight flight to New

checked into my cabin and finished some last
minute work before going to bed.
I arrived in the morning refreshed
and ready for the big mee6ng.
