  5. 5. After university I began working as a membership consultant for GoodLife Fitness and began running competitively</li></li></ul><li>GOALS<br />

OBJECTIVES<br />To increase awareness for health and overall wellness<br />To be recognized as an active and relevant PR professional <br />To increase my number of tweets to a minimum of 2/day and my twitter followers to over 100 by May 1st, 2010<br />To blog weekly with regards to my personal brand and to comment on similarly themed blogs at least once/wk<br />To actively participate in online dialogue daily through twitter, blog posts and comments, Linkedin and RSS feeds<br />To obtain a full time job in the industry by November 2010<br />

KEY MESSAGES-Making health and wellness a reasonable and achievable goal for everyone- Bringing healthy living and overall wellness to the forefront of the PR industry -Using social media tools to keep health and wellness relevant-Inspiring and educating through quotes and easy-to-follow tips<br />

STRATEGIES<br />Positioning myself as a credible and relevant online personality <br />Providing fun, easy to read, visually stimulating, and creative tips about overall health and wellness through various social media outlets<br />Ensuring that the message suits the medium by becoming a regular tweeter, blogger, etc.<br />Reaching as large a scope as possible, while especially targeting PR professionals interested in healthy living and overall wellness<br />Highlighting that I am not an expert on health but we can all live a little healthier and I will provide tips to help do so<br />RATIONAL: I want to show people that I am not an expert on health and wellness. I think people are sick of hearing from ‘experts.’ I want to come off as relatable and unintimidating. I want people to know that I am a real person just like them but have a lot of tips and insight into health and wellness. <br />

CHANNELS/TACTICS <br />Twitter- I have started following those in the health and wellness industry so that I can become involved with their dialogues<br />I am going to make at least half of my tweets relevant to the health and wellness industry<br />Blogging- I subscribe to several blogs whichfocus on health, nutrition and overall wellness. I am going to comment on at least one of these blogs once per week<br />I will begin posting my own health and wellness blogs weekly<br />HumberPR- I will continue to post my blogs to HumberPR and focus on building relationships with my colleagues and previous Humber students<br />I will build these relationships by taking an interest in their posts and commenting on their work<br />FUTURE EXPANSION<br />Linkedin- I will create a professional profile to network and connect through another outlet with future potential employers and connections<br />Facebook- I will clean up my Facebook page and make my fan pages more relevant to my personal brand topic<br />
