    • Outboard Boat Engines The amount of outboard hours is way too many? Are you looking at buying a 2nd hand outboard and it has high hours, the amount of engine hours are too many? This is a very tough question to answer with there being a lot of factors to consider when buying a 2nd hand outboard. Sometimes having a lot of hours is not always a bad factor. If a great outboard engine http://goo.gl/gdCcMS is only used once in a blue moon for short durations of time, it means it spends of time hanging out. The more an outboard engine sits close to the more it will eat. It is a toss upwards between through an outboard engine that has high hours and is at risk of being put on, or a great outboard motor that provides low several hours but is at risk of having negative corrosion. When buying a 2nd hand outboard engine, or second hand boat and motor combination you need your greatest to establish the type of life the outboard has had. Usually in the event that the motor is a former mate commercial outboard motor, they could have high hours, but normally they are very good at maintaining and servicing the outboards depending on the manufacturer's schedule. 4 stroke outboards seem to be able to last for more hrs than 2 stroke outboards. I put this particular down to the two cerebrovascular accident motors firing every wave as opposed to every next. If you look at this way, a two cerebrovascular accident motor with 1000 hours is the equivalent of a four stroke with 2000 hours. If looking at purchasing an outboard engine with high several hours some queries to ask or even area's to consider tend to be - - Has the servicing already been carried out by a great authorized dealer? - Has the servicing been carried out there at the correct intervals? - Is there a service invoice or bill available for every 100 hours of engine operation, if not necessarily is hasn't already been serviced regularly enough - How outdated is the outboard? A newer outboard motor with higher hrs in my view is better than an older one with slightly reduce hours - What has the outboard or even boat recently been used for? - Has the same person been traveling the boat or have plenty of people been using it. If a lot of people have used it, if it is premix gas, which may be in charge of mixing the petrol and oil at the correct percentage? Click here for more information about Outboard Boat Engines.
