  • 2. As a style of thinking, design thinking is generally considered the ability to combine empathy for the context of a problem, creativity in the generation of insights and solutions, and rationality to analyze and fit solutions to the context. Tuesday, 17 September 13

  • 4. It doesn’t have to be expensive - eg build your own moveable white boards Tuesday, 17 September 13
  • 5. Maintain an Innovative Mindset Act like a traveller, eg turnstiles at the airport you couldn’t roll your bag through Work on getting out of your mindset Tuesday, 17 September 13

The Framework Empathise - really understand the space you are looking at, understand the thoughts and feelings of the people in it Define the problem statement - choose a central theme or recurring issue, then Ideate solutions - more ideas, go crazy with ideas, then pick a few and  Prototype - not the kind of prototype you might think, this is any way of testing out your concept with real people (preferably same people you interviewed), use this feedback to develop your idea to the point you can go ahead and Test Tuesday, 17 September 13
