    • India is in the South of Asia.
    • Is the second most populated country in the world, and the seventh largest.
  • 3. SYMBOLS
    • The flag of India is orange, white and green, meaning purity, peace and fertility.
    • One of the most important symbols is the Om, as a symbol of Hinduism.
  • 4. CITIES
    • India’s capital is New Delhi, but the most populated city and the economic center is Mumbai.
  • 5. TAJ MAHAL
    • Taj Mahal is one of the most important monuments in India.
    • Is situated in Agra.
    • Taj Mahal is not a palace, but a great tomb of an Indian queen.
  • 6. GANDHI
    • Gandhi was an important Indian pacifist. He was lawyer and politic, and one of the most influential persons in the country.
    • He fought for the rights and the independence of India.
  • 7. ANIMALS
    • India has a great diversity of wild animals. The most known and beauty are tigers and blue peafowls.
  • 8. POVERTY
    • India is one of the most beautiful and interesting countries in the world, but it has serious problems, for example the poverty.
    • Many children have to work in India to survive.
  • 9. CULTURE
    • The principal religion in India is Hinduism.
    • Sari is a traditional female cloth.
    • Rupia is the unit of currency in India.
