  • 2. THE SUN
    • The Sun is a star at the center of our Solar System
  • 3. MERCURY
    • Mercury is the planet closest to the Sun. It's a small rocky ball without atmosphere.
  • 4. VENUS
    • Venus is the second planet from the Sun. It is hottest planet. It has thick clouds and rotates very slowly.
  • 5. THE EARTH
    • The Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the planet we live on
  • 6. MARS
    • Mars is a red planet and the fourth planet from the Sun. Mars is dry and colder than the Earth.
  • 7. JUPITER
    • Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun. This gas giant is the largest planet. It's got sixteen moons
  • 8. SATURN
    • Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun. This gas giant has large, beautiful rings. The rings are made of icy chunks of rock.
  • 9. URANUS
    • Uranus is a gas giant and is the seventh planet from the Sun. Saturn has got rings. The rings are made of ice.
  • 10. NEPTUNE
    • Neptune is a gas giant and is usualluy the eighth planet from the Sun. It has eight moons
