  3. 3. This is one of the two main monasteries in San Millán. Yuso means “abajo”, “down”. MONASTERY OF YUSO
  4. 4. HISTORY OF MONASTERY OF YUSO The monastery of Yuso was constructed between the 16th and 18th centuries, by the Benedictine monks on the ruins of the 10th-11th century Romanesque Monastery.
