    • I’m bigger than what my body gives me credit for (Carmen Chau: A Personal Brand Plan)
      • ABOUT ME
      • Born in Hong Kong. Raised in Toronto.
      • Undergraduate degree in anthropology and semiotics & communication theory
      • I wear glasses most of the time
      • I’m 5’2” and weigh not enough. What does that have to do with anything?
      • KEY MESSAGES
      • I may be small in stature. But I have a lot to say. My ideas and opinions will make me bigger than what my body gives me credit for. Hence, Carmen+.
      • I am completely open to using multiple social media platforms to cultivate relationships and to remain relevant.
      • GOALS
      • To establish myself as a public relations practitioner who is completely open to using social media to create relationships.
      • To leverage multiple social media platforms to add value to conversations about social media, pop culture, fashion, public relations, and other subjects that people can relate to.
      • OBJECTIVES
      • To dedicate 50% of blog posts on social media and/or public relations
      • To write with passion and opinions. Not here to just report what is happening.
      • To create a hub for my online presence in order to showcase the multiple social media platforms that I will be using.

      • STRENGHTS
      • Completely open to social media
      • Have experience in public relations
      • Critical thinking – always ask who,
      • what, where, when, why and how
      • WEAKNESSES
      • Soft-spoken. Prefer to work behind the scene
      • Not well-versed in any particular subjects
      • Not sure where I can find my niche online
      OPPORTUNITIES Social media allows me: -To develop my voice -To have a chance to listen to conversations & be an observant before I become a participant
      • THREATS
      • Am only 1 voice out of many on the Internet (difficult to stand out)
      • Everyone is using social media to cultivate relationships
