(march 2011) "Back to the Basics" seems to be the prevailing tone in our times, each time taking more boom in all disciplines and even science itself seems to confirm, in this case in the area of medicine.

  • 2. According to the ancestors from different parts of our planet Earth, our body is sentient and thinking. around the patient and sings offering apologies to the wound or the injured area of the body, which automatically goes into remission and healing takes place. For instance, in the case of Australian tribes ancestors, when a person is sick or has been injured, the entire tribe gathers
  • 3. The same happens in the amazing Kahuna’s healings, better known as the medical Hawaiian-magicians. They come in direct communication with the affected area asking its forgiveness through an act of prayer engaging the healers, the patient, as well as all other lives over which they have met and engaged with that person. And then, the miraculous healings occur.
  • 4. In the Inca ancestral wisdom, everything is reciprocity. One gets sick when is filled with heavy energy or "hucha", because of selfish attitudes and for not allowing the "Sami" or light energy to flow. Therefore, during the healing process they request to the body part to get in harmony with Pachamama (Mother Earth) allowing the blocking to equilibrate. And the person heals.
  • 5. In the case of Lakota Indians, in the North American continent, they speak to the body to inform it that a medicine will cure it. The medicine is also informed about the purpose for which it will be used. And logically, people heal…
  • 6. Considering some of the ancient traditional medicine cases, an interesting conclusion is reached:   But today, the discoveries of science,  far from all superstition and speculation, astonish us... Ancestors accepted the parts of our body as an intelligent and fully independent entity of the brain. This was first considered a fraud, especially in recent times.
  • 7. The wisdom of the body is a  good entry point to the hidden dimensions of life: Totally  Invisible yet undeniable. Medical researchers made up their minds and began to accept this in the mid-eighties. Prior to this, they considered that the intelligence capability  was exclusive to the brain, but then, signs of intelligence in the immune system as well as  in the digestive system were discovered.
  • 8. THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM Dr. Bert discovered (which was confirmed by other scientists afterwards) that there are intelligent receptor types not only in brain cells, but in all cells throughout the body (which at first were called neuropeptides). When they began to observe immune system cells -for example the ones which  protect against cancer, infections, etc-   they found the same receptor types, than those in the brain. In other words, the human immune cells, which protect us from cancer and infections, are literally watching our every thought, every emotion, every concept that we issue, every desire we have...
  • 9. THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM Every little T (Thymus cells)  and B (Bone cells)  of the immune system produces the same chemicals substances the brain produces when you think. This makes it all very interesting, because now we can say that the immune cells are thinking. They are not as developed as it is the brain cell, which can do it in English or Spansh or in function of a certain language, nonetheless, they think, feel, get excited, desires, rejoice, grieve and so on. This is the cause of ailments, stress, cancer, etc.. When people get depressed, the cells go on strike, allowing viruses to pass and get installed in the body.
  • 10. THE INTELLIGENCE OF DIGESTIVE SYSTEM Ten years ago it seemed absurd to speak of intelligence in the intestines. It was known that the lining of the digestive tract has thousands of nerve endings, but they were considered mere extensions of the nervous system, and the means to keep the dull task of extracting nutrients from food. Today we know that intestines are not so dull after all. These nerve cells that extend through the digestive tract form a fine system that reacts to external events: such as a disturbing comment on the job, an imminent danger, the death of a relative, etc. The reactions of the stomach are as reliable as the thoughts of the brain, and equally complicated.
  • 11. THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE LIVER The cells of the colon, liver and stomach also think, although not with the verbal language of the brain. What we call "gut reaction" is barely an indication of the complex intelligence of these billions of cells. In a radical medical revolution, scientists have agreed to a hidden dimension that  no one suspected: Cells have surpassed us in intelligence  for millions of years.
  • 12. THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE HEART Many believe that consciousness arises only from the brain. Recent researches suggest that consciousness, in fact, emerges from the brain and body acting together. Growing evidence suggests that the heart plays a particularly significant role in this process.
  • 13. THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE HEART Much more than just a mere pump, as once thought, the heart is now recognized by scientists as a highly complex system with its own functional "brain." That is, the heart has a "brain" or its own intelligence.  According to new researches in the field of neurocardiology, the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing  information.
  • 14. THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE HEART The nervous system within the heart (or "heart brain") enables it to learn, to remember, and to make functional decisions independently of the cerebral cortex. Aside from the extensive nerve communications network that connects the heart to the brain and the rest of the body, the heart transmits information to the brain and to the body interacting through an electric field.
  • 15. THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE HEART The heart generates the strongest and most extensive electrical field of the body. Compared to that produced by the brain, the electrical component field of the heart is about 60 times larger in amplitude, and permeates every cell of the body. The magnetic component is about 5000 times stronger than the brain's magnetic field and can be detected several feet away from the body with sensitive magnetometers.
  • 16. RECOMMENDATIONS: By  "Breathing with Attitude,"  you focus on your heart and solar plexus as you breathe with a positive attitude. Automatically, the heart will harmonize the energy between  heart, mind and body, increasing awareness and clarity. HeartMath Institute's researches suggest that "Breathing with Attitude" is a tool that helps to synchronize heart, mind and body to give it a more powerful psychophysiological coherence. By using this technique regularly -about 5 times a day- you may develop the ability to make a lasting change in attitude.
  • 17. THE ART OF BREATHING WITH ATTITUDE
    • STEP ONE
    • Inhale - focusing attention on the heart.
    • Exhale - focusing attention on the solar plexus (about 10 cm below the heart, just below the breastbone, where they join the left and right sides of the ribcage)
    • Practice inhaling through the heart and exhaling through the rib cage for 30 seconds or more, to help anchor your attention and energy there.
  • 18. THE ART OF BREATHING WITH ATTITUDE 2. STEP TWO Once your attention is focused on the rib cage, after at least 30 seconds ... Choose any attitude or positive thinking to inhale or exhale during the next 30 seconds or more For example, you can breathe-in an attitude of appreciation and breathe out one of attention.
  • 19. THE ART OF BREATHING WITH ATTITUDE 3. STEP THREE Breathe deeply with the intent to lead you into the real feeling of that positive attitude. For example, you can breathe-in an attitude of mercy and exhale an attitude of balance, or you can inhale an attitude of love and exhale an attitude of compassion. Select breathing attitudes that help you balance negative emotions on situations you are going through.
  • 20. Practice different combinations of attitudes you want to develop.  You can repeat aloud: I breathe Sincerity, I breathe Strenght, I breathe Tranquility, I breathe Gratitude..  or any other attitude or feeling that you may want or need. Even if at first you do not experience a change in your attitude, be patient. Remember that Rome was not built in one day.... Making a genuine effort to change will help you achieve at least a neutral state in which you  will have more objectivity and save lots of energy.
