  11. 11. Solution: V-Belt Monitoring <ul><li>The SED2 ensures reliable V-belt monitoring without the expense of an external sensor. Both speed and torque are compared to a user-defined tolerance band. If the parameters do not match, the drive trips in the event of V-belt failure. </li></ul><ul><li>Also, the SED2 is able to monitor a pulse sequence from the sensor detecting rotation of the fan shaft. </li></ul>Speed Torque

Does it fall within the drives operating ranges for altitude & temperature </li></ul><ul><li>Type of power </li></ul><ul><li>- Line and load reactors reduce voltage. If voltage is already low, using them could have an effect on performance. </li></ul><ul><li>- Does the power system supply at least 1% impedance? </li></ul><ul><li>Type of motor </li></ul><ul><li>- Is it VFD rated? </li></ul><ul><li>- Distance from the drive? </li></ul><ul><li>- HP of the motors? </li></ul><ul><li>- Age of the motor? </li></ul>
