  • 2. Social Justice Project
    • Re-Explain what you will be doing
      • Write Up (2 ideas from everyone)
        • For each: what is the idea, why is it a problem, who is responsible for changing it and what you would do to change it and in a perfect world and your idea worked what change would happen.
      • Group project
        • Select one idea
        • Take action
        • One paper from EACH person to include what you wanted to happen/change, what you did to accomplish this, end result
        • Presentation as a group=visual and everyone involved explaining what you did and what happened.
    • Brainstorm a list of ideas.

    • Know yourself and your families you serve!
    • Know that everyone has biases and that this keeps us from accurately seeing who we are!

    • Examine institutional advantages and disadvantages (-ism)
    • Explore social justice activism (Action)

    • Sometimes we do them intentionally but other times we have no idea we are doing it
    • Create dynamics of internalized privilege or oppression
