RFL have underlined however they want Pro RL in North Wales to remain
Invite to apply for Champ 1 within two weeks
Likely that in 2012 four teams will be promoted from a ten team division
Crusaders would be one of the bigger clubs
Given the support, there’s a realistic chance on being promoted

There’s a strong desire to remain at the Racecourse
Premier facility, one of the best in the division, this will help attract players
Glyndwr University very supportive of us going forward
An agreement in principle is in place, which makes it affordable to stay
Subject to being given a spot in Championship 1 a formal agreement could be made

A new company, ‘Crusaders Cymraeg’ has been formed co. no. 07743443
Shareholding will be wide and diverse
Memorandum and Articles will prevent more than a 20% shareholding by any individual or organisation
‘Supporters Direct’ keen to work with the Supporters Club to become a Trust s so they can hold shares

In terms of income we anticipate the main sources to be
RFL distribution of £100,000Season tickets, ‘fan bonds’ and share sales of £62,000
‘Walk up income’ of £20,000Commercial incomes of £74,000 (£25,000 in place)
Lottery Raffle income of £8,640 Community income of £25,000
Other income made up of Programme Sales, Events etc.

Already had a number of applications for Coaching positions

Aim to get a coach in place within two-four weeksRFL offered assistance in player recruitment
Negotiation underway with Widnes Vikings regarding dual registration players
Look to blood local talent as soon as possible
Majority players in C1 on pay per game, which gives flexibility

Commercial Manager, Hanna Clarke & Administrator, Stephanie Hutchison agreed to join future club
Jamie Thomas and Bethan Jones from CD will be on sabbatical for one s season providing commercial support All will work closely with Board and RFL over coming months

Aim to have very strong working relationship with Wales Rugby League
Build a harmonious relationship for the game in Wales
Look forward to a good ‘North/South Derby!’

Matt Pritchard now an employee of Wales Rugby League, but will continue to work closely as part of the team
Crusaders will have four community sports coaches to work on development
Aim to have a harmonious relationship to promote RL in North Wales
Working together with Councils and Sport Wales to promote the game, sport and health and fitness

Within RFL operation guidelines each club should have a geographical reference in it’s name
Crusaders did not have this in 2011, but understood it will be required
We need to have a debate over name and implications
Felt we can no longer lay claim to whole of Wales with Crusaders Cymru
Most likely options North Wales Crusaders, Crusaders Gogledd Cymru etc.
Assuming everyone want to remain as Crusaders!!
