  • The shift to the cloud for HCM solutions is going fast. In order to be in line with the market trends, we must also offer a quick and simple implementation option for Fusion HCM. However, the transition is not always quick and simple. Often, there are associated integrations and transformations, so organizations need a trusted partner like Capgemini, to take care of not only the quick implementation of Fusion HCM but also the associated IT and business transformation.
  • The purpose of today’s podcast is to give you a high level overview of Capgemini’s recently Oracle-validated methodology for implementing Fusion HCM on Oracle’s public cloud. It is called SWIFT HCM, and it is a fixed price, fixed scope, pre-packaged offer that is flexible according to business needs. Whether an organization wants only one module of Fusion HCM or the full suite, Capgemini can implement it. Capgemini’s SWIFT HCM is based on the Oracle Rapid Implementation tools and accelerators but has Capgemini-specific value-add based on our experience with Fusion Apps co-development with Oracle, Fusion Middleware, and delivery of other SaaS-based solutions.
  • So what is actually included in Capgemini’s SWIFT HCM offering?  SWIFT HCM’s fixed price includes a standard pilot, connectors, some data migration, content tools, security, and some recommended pre-configuration.
  • With pre-configured HCM business processes and templates, a setup wizard, a spreadsheet data loader, data integration tools, a testing kit, and training material, Capgemini’s SWIFT HCM makes Fusion HCM implementation quick and easy.
  • SWIFT HCM covers all of the Fusion HCM modules such as Talent, Comp, HR, Payroll, and Benefits with fixed price packages based on the most-likely scenarios and combinations of modules of interest to businesses. However, if an organization is interested in building its own unique package, it can do so.
  • So how do we deliver Fusion HCM at a fixed price in a fixed time period? We do this by building an initial pilot of Fusion HCM. This pilot is built by Capgemini’s strong pool of resources with tools and accelerators in our SWIFT HCM methodology. These tools and accelerators include pre-configured business processes, setups, data migration, testing and training assets.
  • Because we at Capgemini have recognized that a Fusion HCM implementation is much different than a standard PeopleSoft or E-Business Suite implementation, we have developed SWIFT HCM, a customized project plan and methodology to implement Fusion HCM environments on the cloud.
  • But what does SWIFT HCM mean? As the name suggests, our methodology ensures a rapid, cost-effective implementation of Fusion HCM in the cloud. But what else? There’s a whole lot more to the name “SWIFT” than just speed.
  • The S in SWIFT stands for structured. You have already seen a little bit of the structure in our methodology but it is more than that. Capgemini’s structured approach starts right at the beginning with our customers to determine if and how Fusion HCM can fit into their businesses. It defines the best scope and deployment options based on measurable business drivers and benefits.
  • The W in SWIFT stands for Capgemini’s unique “Way of” serving our customers, which we call our “Collaborative Business Experience.” We work in close collaboration with our clients to unlock benefits quickly thanks to powerful assets such as our Accelerated Solutions Environments and our Application Lifecycle services portfolio that help our clients look at the bigger picture to achieve long-term IT benefits and business value.
