  • 6. Bromley Mission School Bromley Mission – Established in 1905, a school located on the banks of the St. Paul River for the training of girls in Academics, Home Economics and Secretarial Science.
  • 7. Bromley Mission School Dorms and classes Faculty housing Kitchen area Episcopal girls school educating appx. 200 students (some boys also). Devastated by the war and struggling to make a brighter future.
  • 8. Bromley Mission School History
    • 1905 Bromley founded by missionaries from U.S.
    • Grew to one of the premiere girls’ schools in Liberia
    • Many prominent Liberian women attended Bromley
    • Due to war, Bromley was closed more than 10 years
    • 2003 Episcopal Diocese of Liberia reopens Bromley
    • 2004 - Father Hart (Bishop Hart) introduces Bromley to St. David’s of Ashburn, VA (Kingsley Obaji)
