  • 8. MIU is composed of 7 institutions : 5 : Meknes Campus. 2 : Errachidia Campus. The two regions are separated by the Medium - Atlas Mountains (known by its vast forests). Meknes is a green region : A modern agriculture is the main activity, due to its soil quality and the abundance of water. Professor Mabrouk Benhamou
  • 9. Errachidia is a semi-aride region : It is the door of Sahara, where exists a traditional agriculture in Oisis and along the famous Tafelalt Valley. Meknes-Tafelalt region contains the 4 principal groundwaters in Morocco and 4 barrages. Professor Mabrouk Benhamou
  • 10. The Meknes-Tafelalt region benefited from the Green Morocoo Project , whose objective is the modernization of the agriculture and to promote the traditional one. Professor Mabrouk Benhamou
