  1. 1. May 18th - Sunday morning: arrival at Brasilia International Airport / transfer to the hotel afternoon: orientation session / guided city tour in Brasilia evening: welcome dinner at a Brazilian steak house

May 19th - Monday morning: lectures at a local university: “New trends in Brazilian architecture”/ “Contemporary Architecture, sustainability and multidisciplinary” afternoon: visit to Brasilia TV Tower/ visit to Mane Garrincha soccer stadium / technical visit to Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Niemeyer with Burle Marx garden evening: social acticity to be defined
  3. 3. May 20th- Tuesday morning: technical boat tour at Paranoá lake to explore the city and have an overview from the federal capital urban project afternoon: technical visit to Three Powers Plaza / visit and lecture at the Niemeyer Foundation / technical visit to Brasilia’s Cathedral evening: social activity to be defined
  4. 4. May 21st - Wednesday morning : visit to an architecture office / visit to Alvorada Palace: Brazilian presidency residence afternoon: flight to Rio de Janeiro / hotel check in and walking tour around hotel evening: night out in Ipanema
  5. 5. May 22nd - Thursday morning: visit to a contemporary architecture office/ tour of house designed by Marcio Kogan, led by Marcio Kogan afternoon: technical visit to Carioga Engenharia construction company and one of its job sites evening: live music at Studio RJ
  6. 6. May 23rd – Friday morning: technical visit at Niteroi Contemporary Art Museum (Oscar Niemeyer) / technical visit at Museu de Arte Moderna (Afonso Reidy) afternoon: technical visit at Aterro do Flamengo (Burle Marx) / technical visit to Rio’s Ministry od Education and Health (Niemeyer and Lucio Costa) / visit to Christ the Redeemer statue evening: night out at Rio Scenarium
  7. 7. May 24th - Saturday morning: technical visit to Copacabana residential neighborhood / technical visit to Museum of Sound and Images in Copacabana (DS+R) afternoon: visit to Copacabana boardwalk by Burle Marx / time off at Copacabana beach evening: farewell dinner
  8. 8. May 25th - Sunday morning: favela experience at Cantagalo: a deep visit to learn more about housing and life in one of the world’s famous slums afternoon: visit to the Sugar Loaf mountain / transfer to Rio International Airport evening: flight out of Rio * Itinerary is subject to change according to availability
