  2. 2. Introduction FIFA World Cup posters have always been designed to represent the competition. Artists have tried to blend the glory of the beautiful game with cultural elements from each host nation, to create a true celebration of football. US based designer James Taylor recently redesigned each official poster from all of the FIFA World Cups (right) which are now compared to Competition Posters (left).
