  • 2. Whose Behind the Declaration of Independence?
    • Written By Thomas Jefferson, The Declaration Of Independence was issued July 4 th , 1776.
    • Jefferson was born in Albemarle County, Virginia in 1743.
    • He was influenced by George Manson’s “Virginia Declaration of Rights”
    • He was A strong political figure and served in two terms of Presidency
  • 3. Well what about the Pursuit of Happiness?
    • The Pursuit of Happiness originated from the works of John Locke.
    • The Pursuit of Happiness means that you can chase your dreams, and live the life you choose as long as what you do falls within the law. the Law.
  • 4. My Pursuit if Happiness
    • My Pursuit of Happiness is Skateboarding.
    • It’s my dream to one day be a professional Skater.
    • When I see all the big name skaters on T.V., it makes me want to be like them so I can influence kids to do great things.
  • 5. Calvine High School
    • The Teachers are really nice and always willing to help.
    • I can stay focused all day.
    • All the students get along and make it a positive learning environment
    • And the foods Great!
  • 6. What I like to do.
    • Skateboarding is my favorite thing to do
    • After all my schoolwork is done, its always fun to go outside and skate for a while
    • I skateboard for a couple hours every day and I’m always trying new tricks to better myself.
  • 7. Self Qualities
    • I can always make someone laugh
    • I always go the extra mile to fulfill my obligations as a student
    • I am great at receiving, and memorizing important information.
  • 8. If I ran for President?
    • I would try my hardest to work toward getting out of debt
    • I would find a way to educate anyone and everyone
    • I would take the dreams of all the past Presidents and make them reality
  • 9. Responsibilities as a Citizen
    • I feel that as citizens, it is our duty to make sure our neighborhoods are safe, not only for ourselves, but for others in our community.
    • I also feel that we can all work together to make our communities a better place to live in by helping out one another.
  • 10. My most Important right
    • To me, the most important right is the freedom of speech
    • You can say what you please and not have to worry about being punished for it
    • If it wasn’t for this right I think there would be some sort of revolution in America
  • 11. What can we do to make the world a better place…
    • We can clean up our neighborhoods, it can be as simple as picking up some garbage and disposing of it properly
    • We can be more friendly with our neighbors
    • We can try to eliminate violence
    • We can start riding bikes instead of driving cars to save the ozone layer
  • 12. Where I see myself in 5 years
    • When I get older, I want to get into science subjects in college because one day I want to be a Chemist. I need to study science text books and get a college Degree in sciences to work toward my dream. I still want to skateboard, but I need a career to back me up, because I’m not always going to be able to skateboard so I need a back up plan just in case.
