  • 2. London Cocktail WeekThe 2012 edition of London Cocktail Week will take place on October 8- 14 in several venues across the city. Cocktail makers and connoisseurs will fly to London this weekend to attend seminars, enjoy tastings,discover new bars and learn from the best professionals in the industry. To celebrate London Cocktail Week, we’ve prepared this little guide of iconic cocktail recipes. What’s your favourite?
  • 3. Bloody Mary1 oz vodka3 oz tomato juiceTabasco1 dash Worcestershire sauce0.5 oz lemon juice1 celery stickCombine the vodka, tomato juice, tabasco,Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Pour back andforth between two mixing glass and strain into a tallglass with ice. Garnish with the celery stick.
  • 4. White Russian2 oz vodka¾ oz Kahlua¾ oz creamPour the vodka and the Kahlua over ice cubes in anold-fashioned glass. Fill with cream and stir.
  • 5. Cosmopolitan1 oz vodka½ oz triple sec½ oz lime juice½ oz cranberry juiceMix the vodka, triple sec, cranberry and lime juice in ashaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass and servewith a lime wedge.
  • 6. Tom Collins2 oz gin1 oz lemon juice1 tsp sugar3 oz soda1 cherry2 orange slicesShake the gin, lemon juice and sugar in a shaker withice. Strain into a tall glass and add the soda, stir andserve with a cherry and 2 orange slices.
  • 7. Mojito1 oz rumMint leaves1 tsp sugar0.5 oz lime juice2 oz sodaPlace mint leaves in the bottom of a glass, addcrushed ice and pour the rum, sugar and lime juice.Add soda water and garnish with more mint leaves.
