In the recent years, the slowdown in agricultural growth has become a major cause for concern as it is extremely vital for food security.

Real time marketrelated information indicatingfuture returns is a big boonfor the farmers, empoweringthem to fetch best price fortheir produce.Gramin Suvidha Kendra(GSK) has been designed asa single-window service forall pre-harvest and post-harvest requirements offarmers. Each GSK centrehas a series of programmesconducted year round, whichnot only focuse on prices andGSK offerings, but also giveinformation on the bestsowing practices, use ofpesticides and fertilizers, government schemes on agriculture etc.This model makes use of the Indian Postal system, the largest in the world, to create aninteractive platform at the village level. Joining hands on this platform also gave us theopportunity of working with the Government and multiple corporate partners, thereby making itan innovative Public Private Partnership (PPP) model with a unique rural marketing chain.
