Incumbent Worker Training GrantLimits and Match<br />One or more training initiatives totaling up to $15,000.00 per business/per year<br />In-kind match of 10%, 25% or 50% required<br />In-kind match may be achieved by the salary and benefits of incumbents while actively involved in training<br />

Incumbent Worker Training GrantTraining Options<br />Skill based training that demonstrates measurable benefits for the employer and the employee<br />Employer selected training providers<br />Internal training initiatives are allowable<br />Whenever possible in-state and community college training providers are preferred<br />
  8. 8. Incumbent Worker Training Grant Sample Project<br />Small business needs to train a receptionist to be a bookkeeper<br />Employer contacts a Business Services Representative together they complete the application<br />Application for the grant is approved for $2,000<br />

Incumbent Worker Training GrantSample Project<br />The business finalizes agreement with their training provider and schedules an accounting course<br />Receptionist completes training and earns a certificate<br />Business in-kind match is 10% or $200.00<br />Wages and benefits of the incumbent equals or exceeds the $200.00 match<br />Employer is reimbursed full $2,000.00 paid for training <br />
