SERVICES OF RELAIS EMPLOI : <ul><li> Individual monitoring for jobseekers in order to optimise the recruitment process for businesses. </li></ul><ul><li> Help create professional development plans by putting in place various measures. </li></ul><ul><li> Access to a number of further education programmes (national education “éducation nationale”, professional training courses “formation professionnelle”) </li></ul><ul><li>Work on the techniques to find a job: CV, cover letters, interview preparation. </li></ul><ul><li>In the form of workshops or individual sessions. </li></ul>
  6. 6.  Initiating contact with businesses for those who expressly ask for it (by telephone and/or in person).  A place of knowledge and a meeting place for employers and jobseekers.  Social support (financial help, as well as housing and health) and the possibility of intermediating with social services.  Reorientation of people towards our organisational partners, depending on individual needs.  Helping you to stay mobile: e.g. the public transport subsidy “chèque transport”…

Some recent figures for the government aid “RSA” (August 2009) <ul><li> Number of “RSA” recipients as of 31st of August (source the Family Benefits Office “Caisse d’Allocation Familiale”) </li></ul><ul><li> On the 31st of August, the “RSA” covers 49 500 inhabitants of the Lower Rhine department (spouses, with depending minors), that is 4,6% of the population. </li></ul>Number of recipients in the department. Personalised Project “Access to Employment” (Young People) <ul><li>Partnership reinforced by the close collaboration between the services of the national Jobcenter “Pôle Emploi” and the employment intermediary “Relais Emploi” </li></ul><ul><li>Work with the 16 to 25 year-olds, including professional and social insertion, resulting in a complete intervention surpassing the sole professional perspective </li></ul><ul><li>Personalised guidance envisaging at least one interview per month </li></ul>843 youngsters guided towards the Relais Emploi

Contract of Insertion into Social Life “CIVIS” (Young people) <ul><li>Youngsters experience particular difficulty when it comes to professional insertion </li></ul><ul><li>Guidance by a referent – weekly contact for 3 months </li></ul><ul><li>Signing a contract for one year, renewable for the levels up to V </li></ul><ul><li>State support in the form of financial aid for those over 18 years old </li></ul><ul><li>Taking the necessary steps to ensure insertion into the long-term employment </li></ul>1 817 youngsters monitored through implementation of CIVIS in 2009 205 obtained long-term employment as of 30/09/2009 1910 youngsters benefited from financial aid with the total amount of € 258 610

Targeted Orientation – Orientation Workshops (Young People) <ul><li>The mission of orientation with respect to young people comes from the region of Alsace directly to the points of access </li></ul><ul><li>Creation of a team dedicated to this activity </li></ul><ul><li>Objective : To help young people create a realistic and realisable professional plan </li></ul>16 sessions organised per year... Affecting 160 young people

Our Internship Team (Young People) <ul><li>Mission </li></ul><ul><li>This team offers young people a bespoke course in order to prepare them for an internship and help secure the internship contract. Our internship team advisers create, together with the young people, their internship plan which would help consolidate their knowledge base and their competencies, and offer them a programme aiming to uncover the world of business and all the parties to the internship process (employer, “CFA”, consulting chamber etc). Similarly, our internship advisers will help during the actual signing of the internship contract. </li></ul><ul><li>Targeted population </li></ul><ul><li>This is relevant for young people identified and mobilised by the Relais Emploi, without qualification, off their professionnal course, but who have created, together with their adviser, their internship access plan. </li></ul><ul><li>Objectves </li></ul><ul><li>200 young people subscribed </li></ul><ul><li>80 internship contracts signed 100 “CFA” placements </li></ul>

Our Employment Team (Young People and Adults) <ul><li>This team works on targeted searches for work as well as summer and seasonal jobs </li></ul> The 2 branches are :  Branch JOBS+ (summer and seasonal jobs)  Targeted Search Branch The most value that our employment team can bring to those registered with the Relais Emploi lies principally in looking for all the potential employment opportunities The two branches are closely linked, the aim being to be able to help the same person look for long-term employment opportunities (limited duration contracts “CDD” of over 6 months or unlimited duration contracts “CDI”) and at the same time to offer them all the possible opportunities

Branch Jobs + (Young people and adults) <ul><ul><ul><li>Initiating the search process and gathering vacancies throughout the year: </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Summer Jobs : responding to the needs of those young people looking for summer jobs </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Seasonal Jobs : reviewing all employment opportunities during the year (inventories, extra, sales etc). </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li> Targeted population : </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li> School children or students </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li> Young people registered with the Relais Emploi as part of the programme of insertion (“Civis”( </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li> Young people or adults registered for collective action “action collective” </li></ul></ul></ul>

Targeted Search Branch <ul><li>What we propose is targeted search for work in order to assist our local clients in their research and provide experience within businesses and lasting employment. </li></ul><ul><li>Special attention will be given to specific searches in the service sector (in particular, restaurants and commerce). </li></ul>

Projects of the Relais Emploi (Young people and adults) Mission By intermediating instances of insertion, to raise the rate of access to employment by jobseekers in difficulty (youngsters without qualifications, recipients of government aid “RSA”, long-term jobseekers etc.) Targeted population Jobseekers in difficulty, from the Strasbourg employment pool. Objectives The objective is to make 200 placements per year.

Action Points Covered (Adults) <ul><li>Offer a contractual and personalised guidance for the recipients of government aid “RSA” who have not had an insertion contract for at least 2 years </li></ul><ul><li>Creation of a team comprising 3 social workers and 3 advisers of Relais Emploi (binomial) </li></ul><ul><li>Propose a new guiding method using a mixed approach of social and professional competencies </li></ul>

SOFI – Support in individual professional training (young people and adults) <ul><li>Dedicated counter </li></ul><ul><li>Facilitating individual access for jobseekers to the resources of professional training </li></ul><ul><li>Covering individual professional training and qualifications </li></ul><ul><li>Mutual funds (employment body “Maison de l’Emploi” and the European “FSE” ) </li></ul><ul><li>In addition, funding provided by the region of Alsace, the General Council of the Lower Rhine department, etc. </li></ul>
