2. What is Fairtrade?
● Fairtrade is important, it gives people a
fair price for their work.
● People in poor countries have to sell their
goods so low they cant make enough
money.
● They only get a little bit of the money we
pay.

3. The Fairtrade Foundation
● The Fairtrade Foundation help producers
in poorer countries.
● If you buy something with a Fairtrade
logo you know that money is helping the
community it was made in.
● The money helps to buy things like
bicycles or new wells to provide water.

4. Fair labour too
● A lot of work is needed to make sure
people work in suitable conditions. This
means that workers are treated well and
children go to school so they can get an
education.

● Fruit, Chocolate, Tea, Coffee, Sugar and
there are lots more.
