    2. What Is Skype?
Skype is a video chatting system that enables its users to video chat, make phone calls, send text messages, and forward calls using one free and easy program downloaded to your computer.
    3. You Need:
      A Computer
      An Internet Connection
      A Microphone
      A Web Camera
      Headphones
    4. Downloading Skype:
First start by visiting www.skype .com
There is a link directly on the homepage that gives you the option of downloading Skype to your hard drive.
Follow the prompts and set up a Skype Username Account.
    5. Searching for friends:
Once you have developed your Skype User Account you will be able to search for friends by using the search option under “Contacts/Add Contact”
Once a friend is found click “Add to Contacts” option and a friend request will be sent to the user to confirm or deny.
    6. Video Chatting
      Making a Video Call
      To return a miss call:
Double click the name of the person you would like to video chat with, a chat box will appear with the option to call the contact.
To initiate the call, press the green “call” button.
If the other user accepts the call a video window will open revealing both users.
If another Skype user “calls” and the call is missed there will be a tab on the Skype Buddy List labeled “Conversations”
The tab will blink orange, when clicked it will reveal the missed call and who it is from.
To return the call click the username of the person who called and then the “call” button
