  • 2. Since 2005, there has been a significant increase in the usage of social network sites…. However, this has caused an increase in Cyberbullying
  • 3. “Cyberbullying contains all of the elements of tradition bullying, but extends to the online environment”
  • 4. Cyberbullying includes many mediums… “85% of parents of youth ages 13-17 report their child has a social networking account” – American Osteopathic Association, 2011)
  • 5. Nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 has had it happen more than once
  • 6. Over 80% of teens use a cell phone regularly, making it the most common medium for cyber bullying.

  • 10. Effects Of Cyberbullying Are:
  • 11. Depression and Loneliness Bullying victims are 2 to 9 times more likely to consider committing suicide.
