    • Commutative Property of Multiplication  The order you multiply numbers does not change the product.  -5 x 10 = 10 x -5 Define the properties of multiplication.
    • Associative Property of Multiplication   Changing the grouping of numbers when multiplying does not change the product. 1 x (2 x 3) = (1 x 2) x 3  ORDER STAYS THE SAME, JUST THE GROUPING CHANGES.
    • Identity Property of Multiplication   Multiplying by 1 will not change the identity of the number -29 x 1 = -29
    • Zero Property of Multiplication  Any number multiplied by 0 has a product of 0.
