Outside/Studio Workshops
• Buttafly Communications offers outside/studio workshops .
These workshops are pre-scheduled and pre-selected. These
workshops give our participants the opportunity to “get out
into the community.” Our locations are selected because
they embody the spirit of arts education which is to utilize the
arts as a catalyst to build and strengthen individuals and
communities.

Buttafly Communications is looking for community partners to help house the
workshops that we are offering
for our Summer Arts Series
What are the benefits of partnering with Buttafly?
 You are able to offer a full scale arts program to your community (in
collaboration with Buttafly), with zero overhead.
 Buttafly supplies all of the workshop materials, except chairs and tables
 Buttafly provides/creates all of the marketing involved for the series (in
collaboration with your organization)

and support staff who are paid by no one other than Buttafly

The Right Program…
Buttafly is offering a series of arts classes, events, and workshops that will
take place in selected venues throughout the Louisville metro area and New
York City. The purpose of the series is to utilize the arts as a catalyst to
strengthen individuals and communities.
Our workshops are affordable, flexible, accessible, and applicable to the
needs of the students and the community. Buttafly draws from a cadre of
visual artists, poets, and writers who have honed their skills
as teaching artists, mentors, and instructors.

The Curriculum
Currently, we are offering all of the workshops that are currently
on our online catalogue. These
workshops can be accommodated to meet the needs of a one
day presentation/workshop as well as
function as a workshop that can be attended throughout the

Extra! Extra!
Workshops are divided and or mixed by age groups (5-18). We
require pre-registration as this affords us
an opportunity to provide schedules and syllabi for our
participants. We are a fully functional, well
managed arts organization that is equipped to manage a full
scale summer arts program in an
established facility/location

Ooh, and its affordable. It only costs 5.00 per
two hour workshop/per participant.
