      • You travel 36 hours to a small town in New Zealand and you are sitting in a Starbucks having coffee and wanting to review the bookmarked sites you used to plan your trip?
      • OR
      • More realistically, you travel down the hall to another classroom because you are a a “roving teacher”?
      • DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR BOOKMARKS?

    • Referred to as FOLKSONOMY

    • Tagging in a social bookmarking world is a very powerful tool to use for searching…..WHY?

    • You can give your students an assignment where each tagged page is accompanied by a question (in the description field of the tag box). Students answer the question from reading the website.

    • Departments within a school can create their own department delicious logons…..think about the social studies department having their own resources, tagging convention relevant to their subject area and instant access to specific curriculum.
