But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt 12:36-37 NKJV Sin is anything we THINK that’s displeasing to God. The thought of foolishness is sin:… Proverbs 24:9 KJV Sin is not doing some things we should do. Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:17 NKJV

Rom 6:23 NKJV Q: What are WAGES? A: Wages are what we get for what we do Q: What does GOD mean by DEATH?A: DEATH punishment by God doesn’t mean dyingphysically. Death refers to a place we call HELL. 8. 8. WHY JESUS? Jesus LIVED a perfect life  Because Jesus is God He is the only person who never sinned.  Because He had no sin of His own He did not have to be punished for sin.  Because He had no sin, He could take the punishment I deserved for My Sin upon himself. Jesus DIED for our sins For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, - 1 Cor 15:3 NKJV Jesus AROSE from the dead  Jesus defeated death and hell  His resurrection promises us everlasting life!
  9. 9. HOW TO RECEIVE SALVATION?Q: Who can receive salvation?A: ALL OF US!Q: How much does it cost?A: It’s God’s gift to mankind, so it’s FREE!!! Q: What do you do when someone gives you a gift? A: RECEIVE it of course! The only problem is that this gift is invisible, but is very real.
  11. 11. REPENTANCE TOWARD GODQ: What is REPENTANCE?A: Repentance means to CHANGE! It may be achange in direction or in mind or both. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 2 Cor 7:10-11 NKJVAccording to the verse, there are Two Kinds ofSORROWS:  Worldly sorrow  Godly sorrow
  12. 12. REPENTANCE TOWARD GOD Worldly sorrow You were sorry you got caught, but you did not change your mind about your sin, you would do it again. Godly sorrow We are truly sorry for our sin and we want to change… • our habit, • our attitude, • our actions, • our behaviour!
  13. 13. FAITH IN JESUS CHRISTWhat is FAITH?  Faith is resting on God’s promise.  Faith is taking God at His Word.  Faith is trusting God to do what He said. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
  14. 14. FAITH IN JESUS CHRISTHow to have FAITH in Jesus Christ?  Believe in Him • Trust in Christ alone for salvation • Believe that He died on the cross to save you from sins  Live like Him • Turn away from everything the Bible calls sin • Attend a small group for personal discipleship and weekly worship services • Tell others about your discipleship with Christ  Have a lasting relationship with Him • Read and obey your Bible everyday • Pray, pray, pray
  15. 15. FAITH IN JESUS CHRISTIf you got Faith in Him, I got more good news for you:Jesus Ascended to Heaven and is there preparing a place for us! Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you - John 14:1-2 NKJVJesus is coming again someday! And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. - John 14:3 NKJV Jesus is present now in His Holy Spirit and wants to come into your Heart! For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. - Matt 18:20 NKJV
  16. 16. YOUR CHOICE  Your Mother can not be saved for you!  Your Father can not trust in Jesus for you!  The Preacher can not Believe in Jesus for you!  You can not get saved by the actions of another person!  YOU and You alone must make that choice.
  17. 17. YOUR CHOICE Have you sinned? Do you want to go to hell? Do you believe you need to be saved? Do you believe Jesus Died for your sin? Do you want to receive His gift of salvation? Are you willing to accept God’s gift of Salvation?
  18. 18. ACCEPTING GOD’S GIFTQuestion: How do we accept God’s gift of Salvationthrough REPENTANCE and FAITH? Answer: PRAYER  Prayer is talking to God. • Through prayer we express our faith to God and call on Him  Prayer is telling God • how we feel… • what we believe… • what we need… • what we want…
  19. 19. ACCEPTING GOD’S GIFTPoints to consider:  If you have prayed to receive Jesus you do not need to do it again.  We do not want you to pray to be saved unless you really meant it.  Do not pray it because someone else does, do it only if you want to.Prayer of Salvation: "Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
