Margolis’s career spans the launching of several major European TV broadcasters such as TV3 in Scandinavia, Sky TV Eurosport and QVC in the UK. He has also worked on the development of dozens of general entertainment, news and shopping TV channels. He has worked as a high level executive and has successfully managed multi million dollar budgets and has a reputation for delivering exceptional returns. He has advised the various top flight brands from British Airways, the world leading Net-A-Porter fashion web site, numerous retail groups from Printempts LaRedoute to Harrods and has written reports for numerous financial & investment institutions. Best described as an international convergent media entrepreneur, Budd has spoken and written about the development of the interactive digital transactional field and seen the emergence of TV shopping, ecommerce and now cell/mobile sales systems. His work across the world in some forty countries has provided a unique experience and thorough understanding of consumer behaviour within live and digital environments. He has won a regional Emmy award, was head of factual programming for the first commercially supported TV satellite channel for Scandinavia where he commissioned and purchased all documentary programmes and managed the daily news programme, Editor for Eurosport news while at SKY TV, has produced thousands of hours of live sport and shopping programmes across the world, was head of TV for the FIVB World Volleyball league and was head of eCommerce for British Telecoms. He is an acknowledged expert in the field of electronic commerce and has produced several infomercial programmes, TV advertisements both in the USA & UK, regularly writes articles and speaks on the subject of convergence and the impact of technology on consumer behaviour and electronic retailing. I started to watch theprogrammes and realised Cesar understood dogs like no otherperson. If I can just aspire to understand this industry to asmall degree what he can do, I would be able to provide myclients with real value for money skills!
