90 days after the terror and the society starts to reflect over what really happened. This is my true story made in the same city at the same time. Earlier that day I was an eye witness to the happenings. Later that day the new on television had new of young innocent politically interested people was shot dead almost 100 lost their life. I have picked out better images and an adapted text different from the first version I made just after the attack, It's a quite unique document as it was made that night as I decided to to walking meditation to calm my spinning thought and I did bring my camera.   3. 3. there is a time to heal the sorrow and to feel compassion with all the people who lost their beloved ones in the difficulties of all time
  4. 4. the day of horror came to Oslo when a big bomb exploded in the middle of the city people was in chock
  5. 5. - some hour later on the island Utøya young innocent politically interested people shot dead with no possibilities to escape
  6. 6. - I was a witness the total damage in the city center as I arrived only 2 minutes after the explosion my subway station is just 200 from where it happened
  7. 7. - in the evening I was to restless to sit inside I decided to do walkingmeditation to calm my mind and try to gain a momentum of inner peace
  8. 8. - just a few blows from my home is the famous Vigeland Sculpture park I took my camera with me and found inner peace
  9. 9. - my journey started her at the park entrance
  10. 10. - Norway did a marvelous good this that sad day they decided to concur hate with love and by doing so they acted the opposite what the terrorist hoped who are to make people scared
  11. 11. - but if we forget the spiritual development
  12. 12. - it lies with each of us
  13. 13. - responsibilities does not lie with the leaders
  14. 14. - and peace starts with within us
  15. 15. - when a community is in a state of peace
  16. 16. - it can share that peace with neighboring communities
  17. 17. - when we do so we feel love and kindness towards others
  18. 18. - for all living beings and the nature around us
  19. 19. - what is important is to take responsibilities
  20. 20. - peace can only last where humans rights is respected
  21. 21. - where nations are feed
  22. 22. - and where individuals and nations are free
  23. 23. - inner peace can only be achieved trough the development of mental peace
  24. 24. - material progress is important for human advancement
  25. 25. - then we get clinched to things and our mental health suffer
  26. 26. - we must seek for balance in life
  27. 27. - Buddha found out the hard way in life tried to overcome suffering
  28. 28. - this balance Buddha referred to as the middle way
  29. 29. - when you have inner peace all eternal problems does not affect you
  30. 30. - without inner peace whatever how wealthy or successful you might be
  31. 31. - you may still be worried, disturbed or unhappy
  32. 32. -my words on inner peace was based on the Nobel lecture 1989, 14th Dalai Lama
  33. 33. - there are some simple guidelines on what we should not do
  34. 34. - not to destroy life
  35. 35. - not to steal
  36. 36. -in this park there is a famous angry boy “sinnataggen” with great buddha nature
  37. 37. - he says; you will never be punished for your anger
  38. 38. - you will be punished by your anger
  39. 39. - and as I am walking out of the park I remember: we are what we think
  40. 40. - all that arises with our thoughts
  41. 41. - I know a lot of people who do not share their happiness and that is sad
  42. 42. -thousands of candles can be lit from one single candle and the life of the candle
  43. 43. - will not be shortened, happiness never decreases by being shared
  44. 44. - these words are dedicated to my brother who left us earlier this year
  45. 45. - and to all those who left lost their most beloved ones
  46. 46. - in the difficulties of all time
  47. 47. - you have my most humble and deepest respect
  48. 48. - and I felt satisfied and greater because I decided to follow some- advice by others to do a simple form for meditation by walking
  49. 49. - and as you can see there are almost nobody out that night. Thatemptiness helped me with greatness to become silent inside
  50. 50. -- everybody should now and then just turn off all your digital equipment and leave home, for a second or a year, the length does not matter, only that you have started developing the inner peace by being with yourself
  51. 51. - this is my story from the emptiest park and town in the world that night.So always try to look for a positive side in everything negative
  52. 52. - and as time passes memories fades away like water in a river but the feeling of that day will always stay with us
