  7. 7. Human interaction <ul><li>Many Chimpanzees are trained and domesticated by humans. Since chimpanzees are extremely intelligent the can do most things a human can do if taught. Many are house pets in rich African families or forest neighboring tribes. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Chimpanzee attacks There are quite a few incidents of Chimpanzee Violence towards humans. Generally UGLY and provoked.   11. 11. Reproduction rate <ul><li>Female chimps don’t usually mate till 8-9 but don’t conceive until 2 years later and fully mature 3-4 years later. From one female a chimp is usually born every 5-6 years. The chimp clings to her back for 5-7 months until it becomes ready to fend for itself. </li></ul>
