  2. 2. Definition of Backup <ul><li>a backup or the process of backing up refers to making copies of data so that these additional copies may be used to restore the original after a data loss event. </li></ul>Definition extracted from WIKIPEDIA
  3. 3. In Teaching <ul><li>Hours to do lesson preparation, creating resources and etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Such data can be considered as our LIVELIHOOD . </li></ul><ul><li>They are very PRECIOUS data. </li></ul><ul><li>Despite this, people do not back up. </li></ul>
  4. 4. “ My computer and my hard drive can live forever.” <ul><li>There are 2 type of hard drives. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Ones that have failed. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Ones that will fail. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Increase your chances by having additional copy of your precious data in another media storage area (eg. External hard drive) </li></ul>
