Joining up communications for our customers Crystal clear video for Yazaki A market leader in components for the global automotive industry, Yazaki is based in Japan with a global workforce of 210,000. BT provided a complete upgrade for its legacy video conferencing systems. Now the company is free from the frustrating lag between lip movements and speech, which is especially important when conference participants are speaking in languages not native to them. Crystal clear video underpins Yazaki decisions across the globe from more than 20 sites, and since the upgrade savings of a third on business trip expenses have been reported. Accelerating decision-making for Philips With a bespoke BT One Collaborate solution, Philips was helped to achieve its vision for a state-of-the-art multifunctional boardroom, combining everything needed to integrate video conferencing and multimedia. The new video-enabled boardroom is enhancing insight into global operations, accelerating decision-making and eliminating unnecessary travel costs. Call charges reduced by 30% for TNT Express Benelux BT One Business Voice was chosen by TNT Express Benelux because of its ability to integrate data traffic and public telephony services. Seven key sites, including the two TNT Express contact centres, were migrated onto BT One Business Voice under a single contract. The move was completely transparent to end users: all work took place on the BT side of the network. Jan Denys, ICS infrastructure manager, says: “Once lower call charges of around 30% per annum were factored in, the financial benefits were very clear.
